Enter team competitions with myELEY

The ‘myTEAMS’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

If you have been invited to take part in a team competition by the competition organiser, the request will be displayed here. Simply click the ‘myTEAMS’ button and accept the request to be added to a team. If you can’t participate in the competition, select decline from the drop down list.

Enter club competitions with myELEY

The ‘myCLUBS’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

The ‘myCLUBS’ button has two different functions depending on your original choice when registering on myELEY.com. 1. Shooter or 2. Competition organiser.

  1. As a shooter, clicking the ‘myCLUBS’ button gives an overview of the online clubs you have applied to join and the option to enter a membership number if you have one. You can apply to join as many clubs as you wish, and the club owner will approve your request if you are successful. It is possible to join several clubs if you want to shoot in more competitions.
  2. As a competition organiser the ‘myCLUBS’ button acts as a quick link to ‘manage your club’ where you can create club members, create club competitions, create teams and more. See the information below.
Moderate score cards with myELEY

The ‘MODERATE’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

The ‘Moderate’ button plays a big part on the myELEY platform. One of ELEY’s concepts towards competitions is the ability for shooters to score their own competition targets. Once scored, if requested by the competition organiser the shooter can upload a photograph of their target as a ‘Moderator’. The shooter’s un-moderated score is instantly live on the leader board and a copy of the score and card are delivered to the ‘Moderate’ section of the competition organiser’s dashboard for confirmation. Once approved, the leader board is automatically updated.

Join an online shooting club with myELEY

The ‘JOIN A CLUB’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Apply to join any club registered on the myELEY platform by clicking the ‘JOIN A CLUB’ button. Select a club from the drop down menu, click ‘save’ and your request will automatically be sent to the chosen club and you will receive a notification if you are approved. By joining multiple clubs you will have the choice to shoot in more competitions. If you are a member of more than one club, you can view them all in the ‘myCLUBS’ section of the dashboard.

Enter more competitions with myELEY

The ‘ENTER MORE COMPETITIONS’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

The ‘Enter more competitions’ button is the hot link to all club competitions currently available on the myELEY platform. Select a club from the drop down menu to see available competitions. Follow the links until you reach the ‘You’re about to register’ notification and click ‘confirm’. If you are successfully accepted into the competition you will receive target codes in your dashboard to write on your competition targets.

Manage an online shooting club with myELEY

The ‘Manage club’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

When you registered on the myELEY platform you were given the option to either create an online shooting club or join a club. If you selected create an online shooting club,  you have the option to manage all the functions of the online club by clicking the ‘Manage club’ button. See functions information below.

Edit club information with myELEY

The ‘Edit club details’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

As the club owner, the ‘Edit’ function enables you to update the club name, club logo, telephone number, website address, club location and correspondence address.

Manage membership with myELEY

The ‘Members’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

The number displayed within the members icon is the total number of club members you have accepted to your club. All your members are displayed here. You can approve or decline members by clicking on the edit button.

Manage competitions with myELEY

The ‘Competitions’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

The number displayed within the competitions icon is the total number of club competitions you have created at your club. All your open competitions are displayed here. You can manage competitions by clicking on the manage button. See all competition management functions below.

Manage teams with myELEY

The ‘Teams’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

The number displayed within the ‘teams’ icon is the total number of teams  you have created at your club. All your teams are displayed here. You can manage teams by clicking on the manage team button.

Affiliate your club with myELEY

The ‘Affiliations’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

The number displayed within the affiliations icon is the total number of governing bodies your club is affiliated with. By affiliating your club to a governing body, your club members will have the opportunity to take part in ‘Open Competitions’ created by governing bodies. Multiple clubs may be affiliated with governing bodies, therefore competitions will be referred to as ‘open’

Create club members

The ‘Create club member’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

This feature enables competition organiser to manually add shooters to their competitions when using the ‘Import / Export Score Data Sheet’ function. Manually added shooters do not have personal dashboards and have not signed up to competitions over the internet. This function was designed to enable match directors to manage competitions when mobile Wi-Fi is extremely limited. See more information on Import / Export data below.

Enter open competitions with myELEY

The ‘Enter open competition’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

As described earlier, an ‘Open Competition’ is set up and managed by a governing body and therefore classed as ‘open’ to any clubs with governing body affiliation.

Create a club competition with myELEY

The ‘Create club competition’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Creating a new club competition with the myELEY platform is extremely easy to set up and display to all your club members. Click the ‘create club competition’ button, choose a competition name, add the number of rounds, number of cards, target detail, add a set of rules, a start and finish date and click ‘save’. This competition is then automatically advertised in all your club members’ personal dashboards. Club members can easily enter by selecting the competition from a drop down list. Great competition management enables even the busiest organisers to take part in the competition themselves!

The ‘Manage’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Each club competition you create has a management option. Click on the ‘Manage’ button and you have access to all the scores, participants, competition information, competition results table, and a new ‘options’ feature where you can download an excel file with all your registered competition entrants, fill in their scores and upload back to your competition dashboard to create a final results table. Each section is editable by the competition organiser. Perfect when internet connectivity is limited.

Manage scores with myELEY

The ‘Scores’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

The shooter and competition organiser have instant access to competition scores by clicking on the ‘scores’ button. Competition organisers have the option to edit scores by clicking on a shooters’ competition codes. Results tables are automatically updated after amendments. Shooters must contact competition organisers if they require an amend to their score.

Automatically generate target identification codes with myELEY

Competition target codes are displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

After entering a club competition online you will automatically receive target codes direct to your dashboard. The number of codes you receive are dependent on the number of targets to be shot in the competition. Write this code on your target before shooting it and uploading a picture back to your organiser (Moderator) If a competition manager manually adds you to a competition, they will supply your codes on the day of the competition, to be used in conjunction with the Import / Export Data function.

View participants in competitions with myELEY

The ‘Participants’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Click on the ‘participants’ button to see the profile picture and name of each competitor in the competition.

Manually add participants to your coompetition with myELEY

The ‘Add participants’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Any competition a club organiser creates comes with an option to manually add a participant to the competition, without the shooter having access to the myELEY platform. This feature is perfect when internet connection is minimal or the shooter does not have access to the internet. Competition target codes will be distributed manually by the organiser.

Easily display competition information with myELEY

The ‘Information’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Click on the ‘Information’ button to see the details of the competition which includes the organisers name, open and closing dates, rules, general information and location.

View competitions you create with myELEY

The ‘View’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Click on the ‘View’ button to see the current competition results.

Share competition results online with myELEY

The ‘Results’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Click on the ‘Results’ button to see the competition results which include the shooters’ rank, name, number of cards submitted, score and number of X’s

Automatically generate a .jpg results graphic with myELEY

The ‘Results graphic’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Click on the ‘Results graphic’ button to generate a .jpg image of the results table. Perfect for displaying online.

Automatically generate a .pdf results table with myELEY

The ‘Results table pdf’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Click on the ‘Results table pdf’ button to generate a .pdf document of the results table. Ideal for displaying on the club house notice board.

Share a results table direct to your social media channel with myELEY

The ‘Share on Facebook’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Click on the ‘Share on facebook’ to post results direct to your club social media or personal facebook pages.

Options

The ‘Options’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Click the options button after creating a competition to access the Import / Export Score Data function. When all entrants are registered to your competition, download the data sheet in excel format that includes all the competitors target codes, names with blank score and number of X’s column. Fill the excel sheet in, as the results are finalised in your competition and upload the results back to your dashboard to create the results table. Simple, fast and accurate. Useful when internet access is not an option.

Share this competition

The ‘Share this competition’ button is displayed in both the shooters’ and the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Click on the Blue ‘Share on facebook’ to post results direct to your club social media or personal facebook pages.

Click on the Green ‘Results table’ button to generate a .jpg image of the results table.

Click on the Red ‘Results table’ button to generate a .pdf document of the results table.

Import / Export Score Data

The ‘Import / Export Score Data’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

When all entrants are registered to your competition, download the data sheet in excel format. The excel spreadsheet includes all the competitors target codes, names with blank score and number of X’s column. Fill the excel sheet in, as the results are finalised in your competition and upload the results back to your dashboard to create the results table, simple, fast and accurate. Perfect when internet access is not an option.

Cancel competitions

The ‘Cancel competition’ button is displayed only in the competition organisers’ dashboard.

Each competition that is created can be deleted using this button. Click on ‘cancel’ and close this competition button to confirm cancellation. The competition will appear as ‘closed’ in all of your club members’ dashboards. If you want to completely remove this competition from all dashboards, as a security measure you must first cancel the competition, return to your dashboard then go back to the options page a second time to delete or reactivate the competition.
